Jeda 2

Air tertumpah
"Eh, air tertumpah, jangan dimarah",
katanya.
Air tertumpah dilap,
disapu daripada lantai
supaya kering.

Air tertumpah
"Apa ini? Tertumpah lagi?"
kali ini terdengar tinggi nadanya.
Air tertumpah lagi,
dilap lagi, disapu lagi daripada lantai
supaya kering lagi.

Air tertumpah lagi
Dia tidak bersuara
Seperti Tom dalam Mindwalk,
"Apabila batu-batu bersuara,
aku terdiam."
Air akan selalu tertumpah,
tetapi sering itu jua,
kita lap ia dan sapu ia
agar lantai itu selalu kering.

"Untuk apa kering
dan perlu selalu dilap dan disapu?"
kalau muncul sang dekonstruktif
di ambang pintumu,
bagaimana?
Lalu tangan si lelaki nan berambut-rambut itu
pun sesenang menolak gelas dan baldi
untuk eksperimentasi.

Kali ini air tumpah lagi
Tetapi justeru bukan kerana itu,
aku selalu mengelap dan menyapunya.
